NCO & Officer Belts (without buckle)

Write a Review

We are now offering a full range of NCO & Officer belts for Union and Confederate troops. Buckles are reproductions and all made of brass. Each buckle is sand cast and hand-worked much as the originals were during and before the Civil War era. We have most Southern States as well as Marine, Navy and Military Issue Musician buckles. Belts are available in black, russet or white buff for specific types. Upon request, these belts may also be custom ordered to be made into sword belts.  NOTE: Prices are only for the belt without the buckle.  Each buckle is different so you must choose a buckle from our Belt Plate and Buckle listing and purchase it separately and we can mount it on the belt for you, which this price does include mounting of a buckle and custom fitting to your specifications.  Please visit our Belt Ordering Policy to get the correct measurement.

You can also buy this belt as "Do It Yourself" if you have a buckle in your posession and want to mount it yourself.  We will send you the belt with needle, thread and prepunched holes for you to sew it on yourself.

NOTE: Please take extra care and follow these easy directions for sizing your belt.

Military belts worn in the 19th century were generally worn around the wearer's navel area. If you are ordering your belt for Civil War reenacting, you should measure accurately the full distance (point-to-point circumference) around your naval area with a cloth tape measure and preferably with your uniform on the way you would be wearing it (including a sash if applicable). Please do not send us your modern jeans waist size for a belt worn for military use!  Do not include the buckle in your measurement.  We will make all necessary adjustments.

If you are ordering a belt specifically to be worn with modern civilian casual wear (jeans), then you must measure the circumference of your waist only, point-to-point.

We will not be responsible for belt returns that are too small due to customer measurement error. So please be sure to follow the directions above. There is no charge for shortening your Dell's Leather Works belts, however, the customer is responsible for shipping.
