Solid-cast brass. Prior to the war 500 to 1,000 of these gold gilded plates were ordered from a northern firm by the state of Alabama. They were patterned after the US Model 1851 sword plate.
The belt is made of 8 oz. leather, length is custom fit to customer's size with a brass hook and 2 keepers. Available in Russet, Black or Natural Oiled (White Buff if available). This belt is made to the dimensions of your buckle.
