Sand-cast brass plate with a die-stamped brass tongue disc. This appears to be a pre-war Va. Militia plate - made locally, since no other states employed this style. Prominent features are the extra large wreath and tongue disc, and the adjoining belt loops. Available in gold or red brass and German nickel silver. (Also available in 2/3 Scale for 1" wide belt).
