Sand-cast brass with a die-stamped tongue disc. This Confederate buckle is solid cast and exhibits a finished appearance, which suggests pre-war by a northern firm. This is a more ornate buckle with oak leaves and decorated belt loops. Other states (Va., Md., Ky., S.C.) the US Navy, and militia units from across the country used plates of the style shown here.
The belt is made of 8 oz. leather, length is custom fit to customer's size with a brass hook and 2 keepers. Available in Russet, Black or Natural. This belt is made to the dimensions of your buckle.
