Gilt cast brass plate with die-struck tongue disc. Bench-assembled with four slashes on back of each belt loop. Bench-assembled construction and tight fit of tongue bar thought to date this stock pattern device from the Civil War period. Its eagle motif’s rounded wings and uninterrupted arc of stars above the acorn, was patterned after the standard design of the Navy’s contemporary general service plates.
The belt is made of 8 oz. leather, length is custom fit to customer's size with a brass hook and 2 keepers. Available in Russet, Black or Natural Oiled (White Buff if available). This belt is made to the dimensions of your buckle.
