Cast brass plate with integral eagle motif and tongue with wreath ending above the wing. The quality of the motif indicated a follow-up strike in a metal die, or it was cast in a plaster or metal mold. No bench number. Early-war enlisted plate contracted by the ordinance department (or a state) measurably larger than the 1861 regulation width.
The belt is made of 8 oz. leather, length is custom fit to customer's size with a brass hook and 2 keepers; sword hanger strap and optional shoulder strap and swivel hooks. This belt can also be made in the Deluxe model Available in Russet, Black or Natural Oiled (White Buff if available). This belt is made to the dimensions of your buckle.
